Whether it's Teej, Raksha Bandhan, or a special family gathering, Gewar is more than a sweet—it's a celebration of culture and tradition.
What is Gewar?
Gewar (or Ghewar) is a disc-shaped, deep-fried Rajasthani mithai made from refined flour and ghee, later soaked in sugar syrup. Known for its unique porous structure and melt-in-the-mouth sweetness, it’s a seasonal favorite, especially during monsoons and festivals like Teej.
Govindam’s gewar comes in its most authentic form—crunchy on the outside, sweet and syrupy inside, topped with dry fruits.
